How important is the online documentation including guides to you?

My persistent issue with nearly all software vendors is the (lack of) maintenance of sample applications that are either part of online guides or documented as blogs. I reported some issues with the most basic samples that are referenced as a part of the initial encounter between new potential customers - and these samples have even more problems now, two years ago.

Beating on Okla developers or support team members would be wrong as this issue has to be resolved as a company-wide concern, so I would appreciate hearing from other members of this forum, indicating how important this is. I do have an idea for addressing this - if it really is important to others as it is to me
