I implemented it the way its mentioned and am still facing issue.Can you confirm if enabling refresh token will fix this issue?

I do suspect that using refresh tokens will help alleviate a lot of the behavior you don’t want to see, namely the redirect thats going through your callback component. Using refresh tokens will allow AuthJS to silently request new tokens instead via a POST request, no redirects required.
