Okta Integrator Free Plan org exists, but activation email never received

Hi Okta Developer Community,

I’m trying to set up an Okta Integrator Free Plan org for learning and IAM development.

I successfully signed up using my business-domain email address:

jonathan@jonathanporter.dev

However, I receive the following message when I try to sign up again:

“An Okta Integrator Free Plan org already exists for the email provided.”

The problem is that I never received the activation/welcome email containing the organization URL or activation link.

I’ve checked my Zoho Mail:

  • Inbox
  • Spam/Junk
  • All Mail

I also searched for Okta-related messages and found nothing.

I tried the Okta password-reset flow using my business email, but the reset email is also not being delivered.

I currently do not know my Integrator Free Plan organization URL, so I cannot use the “Find your organization” option.

Could someone please advise how I can recover the existing Integrator Free Plan org or resend the initial activation email?

I can verify ownership of the jonathanporter.dev domain if necessary.

Thank you!

Hi,

From the logs, I can see that email delivery to the address jonathan@jonathanporter.dev is bouncing - Okta Support Center (Lightning).

Could you try signing up with a different email address?

I have now confirmed that the mailbox is working correctly. I added the required Zoho MX records to jonathanporter.dev, and I successfully received an external test email from my personal Gmail at jonathan@jonathanporter.dev.

However, Okta activation/password-reset emails still aren’t being delivered. Your logs show that delivery is bouncing.

Could you please check the specific bounce/SMTP error for jonathan@jonathanporter.dev and tell me why Okta is rejecting or bouncing the address?

I would prefer to keep using this verified business-domain email rather than create another address, if possible.
