Hello,
i’m integration Slack and Okta using the code below:

resource “okta\_app\_saml” “Slack” {
preconfigured\_app = “Slack”
label = “Slack”
subject\_name\_id\_template = “userName”
subject\_name\_id\_format = “urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:nameid-format:persistent”
response\_signed = true
signature\_algorithm = “RSA\_SHA256”
digest\_algorithm = “SHA256”
honor\_force\_authn = true
authn\_context\_class\_ref = “urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:ac:classes:PasswordProtectedTransport”
app\_settings\_json = \<\<JSON
{
“domain”: “xxxx”
}
JSON
}

It’s working, hower each time i run terraform apply, it’s like tfsate don’t keep any information and overwrite the the previous setup. Below the log message
~ name = “slack” → (known after apply)
~ preconfigured\_app = “slack” → “Slack” # forces replacement
~ response\_signed = false → true
~ sign\_on\_mode = “SAML\_2\_0” → (known after apply)
+ signature\_algorithm = “RSA\_SHA256”
+ subject\_name\_id\_format = “urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:nameid-format:persistent”
+ subject\_name\_id\_template = “userName”

Since is a preconfigured app, there is a message saying ““Slack” # forces replacement”, ant the connector is completely new and need to go back to slack console, authorisation tab and update de links and certificate.

How can i solve this behaviour? Maybe using a custom app, but i was unable to make it work (if someone ca, share, i will appreciate).

Best Regards
