Best SSO approach for Web based Application

Hi,

I would like to have suggestion which is, we are having web based application. We would like to sync the client AD in to our application. We need to know which approach in SSO would be best and how the approach would be differ from others.

What does your environment look like? Java, Node, mixed?

Windows OS. ASP.NET 4.8 on API side. .NET, WPF(Native app) on client side and OKTA SSO
