Missing Group membership updates

We have implemented SSO for our application using a SAML app. Everything works fine.

Now, we enabled user provisioning from the Provisioning tab. I noticed Okta doesn’t send group membership requests when we add or remove a user from a group.

But everything works fine if we use another app called SCIM 2.0 Test App (Oauth Bearer Token) from the Okta app catalogue. Is there a way to enable group membership requests for the SAML app?

Is there any difference between the SCIM 2.0 Test App (Oauth Bearer Token) and the SAML app?

Did you already Push the relevant groups in the SAML app before making these membership updates?

Yes, I did. I received request to create a group from Okta but no requests for group membership.
