Okta Workflows 2026.05.0 Release and Fixes

The Okta Workflows 2026.05.0 release was deployed to Production orgs on May 12, 2026.

Integration Builder

Integration Builder is now Generally Available for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). This feature provides a centralized, project-based environment to build connectors and actions, making it easier to build, test, and submit integrations to the Okta Integration Network (OIN). You can also import an API specification file to accelerate your development by automatically creating foundational flows for your integration. Integration Builder replaces Connector Builder, and is only available in Okta Integrator Free Plan orgs. See Integration Builder .

Role-based access control for folders is now GA

With role-based access control for folders, you can now assign granular access to users per folder.

To support this feature, five new folder roles are available:

  • Folder Manger: For full access to manage resources in a folder and assigning folder roles to users.

  • Folder Editor: For full access to manage resources in a folder.

  • Folder Runner: For read-only access to resources in a folder and the ability to run existing flows and view execution history.

  • Folder Reader: For read-only access to resources in a folder.

  • Integration Builder: For access to manage projects in Connector Builder.

See Manage Workflows folder roles.

Workflows templates

The following Okta Workflows template is now available:

Workflows Unlimited Plan renamed

The Workflows Unlimited Plan has been renamed to Workflows Maximum Plan.

Sample flows for new orgs

Sample flows are a curated set of introductory flows that are designed to help you explore Okta Workflows. These flows use read-only actions to demonstrate core automation concepts without modifying your org’s data. See Sample flows for new orgs.

Fixes

  • The Reduce card of the List function incorrectly nested the Memo output field recursively for each iteration of the helper flow.

  • An incorrect confirmation message sometimes displayed when users tried to delete cards.

  • Connection icons were missing from the list view for flows that had been exported and then re-imported.

  • Users couldn’t disable flows once they had reached their org’s monthly step limit.

  • When a counter column reached its maximum limit, it failed with a generic error and triggered unnecessary retries.

2026.04.2

Fixes

  • The Bulk User Import card sometimes failed when processing large batches of users.

  • Super admins couldn’t import flows containing Okta connections.

  • Headers created with a single character followed by a dash were prepended with x-azuqua-.

  • In Execution History, If/Else cards didn’t expand and collapse.

2026.04.1

  • Users assigned the Connection Manager role were unable to access the Workflows Console after having the role removed and then re-assigned.

  • Users were sometimes unable to scroll down the page when editing a flow.
