SAML 2.0, passing context in SSO URL

In SP initiated sign-in flow, is it possible to pass some context (A query parameter) to Identity Provider Single Sign-On URL and get the same value back somehow as part of SAML assertion? Please let us know if there is any way to achieve this.

Yes, use RelayState parameter for that. Okta will return its value back with the assertion
