Azure AD integration with OKTA using OIDC

Greetings,

I am new to Okta so please forgive me if this is a silly question.

I am working on POC for a new project in our company. I am trying to use Azure AD as IDP to authenticate user before forwarding them to a secure application.

I have followed the steps mentioned in https://developer.okta.com/docs/guides/add-an-external-idp/azure/create-an-app-at-idp/ link and created Authorize URL.

When I launch the authorize URL, I am not being redirected to IDP and don’t get the microsoft login screen instead I am straight redirected to the secure application.

Any help would be very much appericated.

If you are already logged into your external IdP, you will not be prompted to login again when making your /authorize request. Do you see the same behavior in an incognito/private browsing window?
