Changing existing user profiles for new custom attribute

I apologize if this is somewhere else in the docs, but I could not find it.

I have added a custom attribute to my application that is required. How do I add the values for this attribute to the existing users. I am using okta to manage the user profiles. No information is sent from the application.

Is this in regards to Single Sign On or Provisioning?

Thanks for your interest. I was able to figure it out. I was unable to navigate into the user profile before. It was just finding the right series of clicks to get me there.
