Gmail with special character (+)

Hi,

What is the validation for user email?

I created a new user on my dev Okta environment, for that, I worked with a Gmail account (for the example I used with example@gmail.com)

When I created the account on OKTA via the portal I set the primary email & username to be example+1@gmail.com (this is valid mail on Gmail, and as I understand there are few special characters that allow working with an email).
The user account on OKTA was created but I didn’t receive an invitation mail to my Gmail account.

Is there any limitation on the primary email & username?

This worked for me in the past so I don’t think there’s a limitation with the + character in the email.
