Identity Provider IDs and Names in Openstack

Hi,

Why don’t Identity Providers have separate IDs and Names in Openstack?

In Openstack every other entity (as I know) has a separate ID and a Name. Why Identity Providers are handled differently?

This seems to be more of an OpenStack question than an Okta one. I’d suggest asking it on Stack Overflow. You’ll likely get more eyes and answers there.

Thank you, I decided to put it on serverfault (once I read some arguments about that stackoverflow is more for developers and serverfault is more for administrators… as there is no program code involved in my question I think its more of an adminstrator topic :slight_smile: )
