Okta user change history thru api

Hi Team,
we want to get the change history of okta user thru api. I knew it is possible that using SYSTEM LOGS. I could only found what attribute was changed in “debugdata-chnagedattributes”.

  1. we need what is the old value & what is new value.
  2. Is there any restriction for okta user change history like it is only possible to get the last 3 months change log…etc. I could not find this info in the documentation.

I don’t see any evidence in our documentation that we log the old or new value anywhere.

I did find an Okta Idea about this and our product team has indicated that this is on our roadmap: https://ideas.okta.com/app/#/case/117612. You will likely want to upvote and follow this Idea for updates

Okta only retains 90 days of System Log data, as mentioned in our Data Retention Policy outlined here: Workforce Identity Cloud Customer Data Retention Policy | Okta Help Center
