Okta Verify Integration to ASP.Net MVC Web App

I would like to integrate Okta into an existing app.
I have a authentication control in my own app and database. I just want users to get verificatioın code from Okta verify mobile application and verify this code on backend with an api.
How can I make this flow to work?

you can invoke Okta Factor API from your code, assuming you have your users in Okta with enrolled (autoenrolled) factors
