Question about Trial Account

Hi Devs,

I am using the Okta Trial Account to complete some labs with Okta Learning, and I noticed everytime I click home or any other page it prompts me to re-authenticate (login).

Is that supposed to happen for security reasons?

Are you having this issue when accessing the Admin Console, or when navigating around the End User Dashboard?

If its related to the Admin Console specifically, you could check if ā€œIP binding for Admin Consoleā€ is enabled in your org under Security settings, as there is a possibility that you are getting re-prompted because your IP address is changing between actions. I’ve definitely run into this myself and disabling this feature stopped me from being constantly prompted to re-authentication.

I also ended up taking off my VPN - that did the trick.
