SSO - Changing activation email token expiration

Hey guys.
Very new to OKTA so please be gentle. We are currently have the SSO enabled on our site. We are finding an issue that the tokens that get sent in the activation email to new users are expiring in 5mins, which we’d really like to increase to 30mins. Is this possible? Our current OKTA dev is saying no, but it seems a little hard to swallow, thanks.
