Why it is not possible to assign users into Groups imported from SCIM Server?

Have created and set up “SCIM 2.0 Test App (OAuth Bearer Token)” app.
Our SCIM server already published existing groups we can support.
Once we turn on this integration these Groups (let’s call them SCIM Groups) are properly displayed in Okta.

The issue is that we are not allowed to assign any user into these groups so user management via groups is basically impossible.

Another viable option for us would be to pre-create our groups in Okta before the creation of this app itself and then use the “Push Groups” functionality - but in this case we get error “Cannot create mapping to a target group which already exists.” It would be so nice from this integration if in case of existence of the group it would just simple PATCH it - like adding users as members.

Hi @Laco

Can you please open a support case with us at developers@okta.com in order to have one of our Developer Support Engineers assist you in reviewing this issue?
