I was changing passwords on my administrator account for a personal project and some mishaps happened and I lost my password. Now I can’t get back into the account and I can’t find a way to reset my password. This isn’t an app user’s account, this is the only administrator account that has access to the admin page. How can I either reset my password to access the account again, or delete the account since it has my domain registered to it and I can’t register it to another account?
if you still have an active API token you can set a new password right away for your account [https://developer.okta.com/docs/reference/api/users/#set-password], otherwise you can go through the standard password reset flow from the login page [https://www.okta.com/resources/whitepaper/enable-self-service-password-resets/]
if none of these are available you can email email@example.com with the okta org details and username for assistance on regaining access
