I can’t find where to do so. This is what the Accounts section looks like for my super admin.
These forums only allow me to post one image per post. Not convenient. Here’s a screenshot of what’s lower down. I have two more screenshots, but I’m not going to post them; point is, I can’t find where I can reset my own password or change my MFA devices.
Hi,
Are you trying to change your password in the Admin Console? If that’s the case, you would need to follow the steps mentioned here - Reset a user password | Okta Classic Engine
@vk-giri maybe that’s where I was trying to change my password. Is there any other place I can? Because I can’t find any other place.
What you liked me took me to the part of the Admin Console where I can change someone else’s password. But it doesn’t look like I can set any MFA devices for any users there.
Ideally I would like for a place where I can configure an Authenticator for my own user. Ideally I would like to configure an arbitrary TOPT authenticator (Authy or Google Authenticator or anything else) for my own user so I could use it instead of Okta’s own, because I don’t like Okta’s.
I found it!
I had to first go to my End User Dashboard, and then there click on the top right corner name of mine, and then Settings. That Settings is NOT the same as the Settings that would appear in the Admin Console.
And then the Security Methods section would appear in the settings there where I can configure all my auth stuff.
