Cant log in to developer account, 500 internal server error

Every time i try to log in to Okta Developer with google, i get a HTTP 500: Internal Server Error. how i got here:

  1. created account via cli
  2. got an email with activate link which sent me to login and i used google
  3. this got the 500
  4. i tried to signup, but that failed since the email was already in use
  5. i tried clearing cookies and storage, logged in again via google and get the 500 again

Is my account in a weird state?
