Hello!
We are a software development company, writing a web application for customer who uses Okta SSO to authenticate users to our app using OIDC. We’ve been using Okta Developer Edition on our end to test the integration, which has worked quite well for us.
As the developer edition is being discontinued, I have started migrating to the Integrator Free Plan, but am stuck/confused. After signing up, I’m trying to set up my account for the first time. During the signup process, I am told that I need to have Okta Verify on this device in order to proceed. Previously in my developer organization I used Okta Verify on my Android phone, but apparently this approach is not supported in the Integrator Free Plan? Ok, the account setup process helpfully includes a link to Okta Verify, so I decided to set up OV on my Windows machine, but… the link only tells me on what platforms Okta Verify is supported, but doesnt’t have the download. Elsewhere on Okta website I found information that “Okta Verify for Windows is only available on Okta Identity Engine.”
Our company does not have Okta Identity Engine.
How can I successfully set up my account on the Integrator Free Plan to continue supporting our software development process?
Thanks in advance,
Toomas
