Missing Published version tester in APP

Good day,

we want to release a new version of your OIN integration. When starting the application testing cycle we cannot assign anything to “published version” Tester. What to do in this kind of situation?

Thank you

We tried installing marketplace app, or creating a new one. Its not recognized as published version. We are still blocked

I am experiencing the exact same issue. The OIN app submission wizard is prompting me to install the currently published version of my app. I have:

  • Created a new app via “Generate App” button on OIN Submission Wizard UI
  • Installed app from App Marketplace

Neither work.

Also, the submission wizard is expecting the Published version of my app that is SAML-only however my currently published app version includes SAML and SCIM so I’m between a rock and a hard place.

It is possible that you deleted the published app instance by mistake, or deactivated it (considering that the dev org only allows 5 active instances at once). This may have affected the auto tester to not detect the published version. We have a manual fix for this:

You have to create a new custom version based on the current default version, and then make that particular version the “default”. After the new default version is created, you have to add a new app instance without making any changes and the auto tester will detect that version as the published version.

Also, if you are facing anymore difficulties in regards to this, you can send a email with your issue to oin@okta.com and our team can help you out.
