Social Login and email change

Hi there, I wanted to get some help/clarification on below question.

I’m using social login (through LinkedIn) to my application in Okta. Somehow Okta is permanently linking Okta user to Linkedin account on the first login. Even if I change Okra user’s login/email or LinkedIn account’s email and then try to login using LinkedIn, Okta returns same user (at that moment user’s email is not equal to LinkedIn email). I can only reset that link by deactivating/activating the user.

If it is an expected behavior maybe I missed some documentation? I would want to login exactly that user which has the same email address as Linkedin account.

Normally under profile editor the mapping are configured to either be updated on create only or create and update
