Submitting SCIM integration for FedRAMP/DoD environments

Question: Does the regular OIN submission process for SCIM integrations also make them available to customers in FedRAMP/DoD environments? If not, is there a different submission process that should be used?

Context: We are developing a SCIM integration and will soon submit it for inclusion in the OIN. We have a FedRAMP environment in our product and would like SCIM capabilities to be available to our FedRAMP customers. I’ve been scouring the developer docs about OIN and the Support Center articles about FedRAMP compatibility, but haven’t found any definitive answers.

Thanks!

Hi,

The submissions from the OIN wizard will be available in all the environments including FedRAMP

That’s good to know!

If the SCIM Base URL is different between environments, is it then recommended to make separate submissions in the OIN Wizard for each? Or is it possible to allow the end user to change the Base URL in a published app integration?

If the SCIM Base URL is different between environments - which two environments would this be? If you have a submission and the customer uses the app, they can have the base URL configurable in their environment.

I.e., the SCIM Base URL is different between FedRAMP and non-FedRAMP environments. If I’m understanding correctly, it sounds like end users can configure this URL as needed, so one submission via the OIN wizard will suffice. Is that correct?

Yes, that is correct.
