Seeing some customers face the failure: User attempted unauthorized access to app
and upon digging into the Okta System Logs, I’m seeing that they’re not assigned to the app that I would have expected them to be assigned to since they are part of a customer group that is assigned to the application. Is it possible when the app was assigned to the group, there were some failures in assigning these individual customers to the app?
Hi there, if there were failures assigning the app to a group, we are hoping this should be logged in the system logs too. How was the app assigned to a group? Was this done manually or are these jit users or were they added programatically via API?
It was done manually through the Okta Admin Dashboard. I’ll add that eyeballing it, 99.9% of the customers were properly assigned at that time, but guesstimating 1 in 1000 were not.
