Default SignIn Widget to the Self Registration Form

We are using the signin widget just fine and have enabled self registration. The Sign Up link works fine and shows the registration page correctly.

Is there a way to initialize the widget via the config parameter to show the registration form initially, saving the user from clicking Sign Up?

Our use case is to split login and registration as two different flows, and want the initial state of the form to match those flows.

var signInConfig = {
logo: ‘’,
baseUrl: ‘’,
features: {
// Used to enable registration feature on the widget.
// https://github.com/okta/okta-signin-widget#feature-flags
registration: true
}
};
var signIn = new OktaSignIn(signInConfig);

Yes I’m also looking to make it more obvious for users to find the Sign Up Form via the Widget!

Looking at how to update the OktaSignIn javascript widget to allow for a user to register and create their account. Is there a way? Here is my code:

Found what I was looking for here https://github.com/okta/okta-signin-widget#feature-flags

hi, I am also trying to do this. We have registration working but I would like to know if it is possible to direct users directly to the registration screen without having them access it through a link on the sign in screen.

You could do some customisation on sign in widget to open page registration directly…

oktaSignIn.on('afterRender', function (context) {
    if(context.controller==="primary-auth" || context.controller==="idp-discovery"){
        document.getElementsByTagName("body")[0].style.display = "none";
        document.querySelector('a.registration-link').click();
    }
}
