403 Access Forbidden on dev org + can't create new org with same email

Hi Okta team,

I’m unable to access my Okta Developer org as an admin that I use for testing and learning.

Org URL: https://integrator-4194754.okta.com
Admin email: inderpreet.singh@ahead.com

After logging in I see: “403 Access Forbidden – You don’t have permission to access this page”.

I am the only admin on this org, and now I also can’t create a new Developer org because this email is already registered and personal emails are not accepted. Can you please:

  • Restore my admin access to this dev org, OR
  • Release / change the admin email on this org so I can register a new Developer org?

Also, can you please guide if it is feasible to have a OKTA dev account for testing made using @gmail domain?

Thank you.

Hi,

Signing up for the Free Trial or Integrator Free org works only with your work email, so you won’t be able to use your Personal Email to create a new org.

If your corporate email provider supports you can try using addressing/subaddressing as mentioned in the article here -

Hi @vk-giri
Thank you for checking on this.

Subaddressing is not possible in my scenario. So can you help to restore access to the current Dev ORG account ?

If restoration is not possible, can you Release my email from this ORG or delete this one so that I can start a new from scratch.

Any insights will be helpful.

Thanks

Unfortunately, releasing the Email/deletion of the ORG is not possible currently.

Hi @vk-giri

while checking the other issues I saw these issues where similar scenario was resolved by OKTA team

Can you please check once and help with the same for my account so that I can get the access again and continue my learning.

Looking forward to your response.

Thank you
