Error 403 on New Developer Account

Hello, I signed up with my work email, however when I try to login, I get Error 403 access denied. I also cannot reset my password, it tells me to contact support. This is a new account.

I read some posts and I see that there is some problem with registration.

My account is dev-76539731

Thanks.

Hi @wwebb! I’ll reach out to our support team to get you unblocked.

Hi @wwebb! Actually we’ve had recent
issues with new dev org creations. Can you please try creating a new one and confirming this works for you now?

Thank you for the reply. I still have the same issue, unable to login with access denied. I am also unable to create a new account with the same email.

Hi @sigama , please come back! :frowning:

@wwebb I got you. I reported your issue internally. Looking now to reset/delete your account so you can sign up again. Please hang tight.

I have a similar issue(s). I’m cannot register for a dev account. I’m told the email exists but if I try to reset it I’m told that I need an administrator to reset.

I’m locked out of a second dev account due to a phone upgrade and losing Okta verify. Any assistance is appreciated.

@wwebb @nickwnj, as a workaround, can you create a new account with your work email using a suffix, for example, username+suffix@company.domain? The suffix could be something like +admin1 for example.

If this works for you, we recommend:

  • Creating a couple of Super Admin users in your org.
  • Make sure all admins are registered for MFA.

In addition, follow this guide, Enable Terraform access for your Okta org, to make sure you have access to a Terraform config in the event you are locked out.

@sigama, we unfortunately do not have that ability at my current employer. Any luck with deleting my account so that I can start over?

Hi @sigama, any updates?
