Hi Okta Community,
Our admin account (https://dev-700008.okta.com/)—created before MFA was enforced—can no longer log in. I’ve reset the password via “Forgot Password” and set a new one, but now see:
“You do not have permission to access the account at this time…please contact your administrator.”
We need access to complete our migration from the Okta dev plan to the Integrator free plan. Any guidance on restoring admin access would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.
Hi @DanielOnCode,
I’m Andrew from Okta’s Developer Support Team. I’m happy to help point you in the right direction.
The right path for migration depends on what you need to do.
- Migrating a Published OIN App? If your application is already published in the Okta Integration Network (OIN), The DevSupport team can help you migrate it to the new Integrator Free Plan. Please reach out to us directly at developers@okta.com for assistance.
- Backing Up or Copying a Dev Tenant? If you’re looking to create a backup or copy of your development tenant, we have a couple of great self-service tools for that:
The Dev Support team primarily supports developers with their published OIN applications, so for other types of migrations, those tools are your best bet.
Hope this clears things up for you,
Andrew
Hey @andrew1
thank for you for your response. To backup or copy a dev tenant, do I not require admin access on my current dev tenant in order to do this ?
The only access working now is a non-admin user created by the admin a while ago.
